Accomodation Tips

Recommended Area

We strongly recommend staying in:

• Prague 1 (Old Town / New Town)  

  • walking distance to venue

• Prague 2 (Vinohrady)  

  • 10–15 min by tram/metro

• Prague 8 (Karlín)

  • modern area, close and well-connected

Staying centrally means you can reach the venue (Municipal House) within minutes on foot or via public transport. For budget travel, we recommend searching Airbnb or Booking along the metro line stations, even further from the venue. E.g., you can switch on the transport layer on Google Maps to see the metro stations and match them with Airbnb / Booking. Also, note that ETHPrague should provide you with free mass transport tickets for the duration of the event.

Practical Advice for ETHReS Attendees

• Book accommodation in Prague 1 if possible (zero commute)

• If staying further out, ensure metro access (Line B or C)

• ETH Prague week(-end) will be busy (expect high demand)
